Skin conditions

Salt therapy is a complementary treatment to help manage symptoms and improve overall skin health. Expose the skin to the salt-rich environment that is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. Results vary according to lifestyle factors such as diet and the severity of the skin condition.

Eczema, Dermatitis & Psoriasis, Rosacea

These can be debilitating conditions causing a variety of symptoms from plaques, cracks, itching, dry scales, redness and even bleeding and visible blood vessels. These symptoms can affect sleep, confidence and day to day life. Salt therapy is a complementary therapy that helps to regulate the immune system supporting a reduction in skin inflammation and irritation.  It has anti-inflammatory properties, which may ease flare ups and promote healthier skin. In addition the increase in oxygen from nasal breathing improves circulation and provides nourishment to the skin.

Acne

Acne is a common skin condition with clogged pores and bacteria. Salt therapy is a natural and gentle complementary therapy which may help reduce bacteria on the skin's surface, calming redness and irritation. Nasal breathing helped by salt therapy improves oxygen levels, circulation and skin healing.

Skin ages as it loses elasticity, moisture, and firmness leading to a duller complexion, and wrinkles. Pollution and sun exposure can accelerate this process. Salt therapy encourages relaxation with easier nasal breathing. Which improves oxygen delivery to skin cells to nourish the skin.
