The Halogenerator disperses microscopic dry sodium chloride particles into a controlled room.

History of Salt Therapy
Since the 12th Century, people have been visiting Salt Caves in Eastern Europe.
In 1843, a Polish physician, Feliks Boczkowski noticed that salt miners in particular did not experience respiratory issues or lung disease.
Karl Hermann Spanngel noticed his patients’ health improved after hiding out in the salt caves while avoiding heavy bombing during WW11.
On a daily basis we are exposed to pollutants, airborne diseases, bacteria, allergens and other irritants.
Salt therapy is a method to cleanse and detox the lungs invigorating your body.
In a similar way to time spent by the sea.
Recent research
The recent research shows salt therapy as a promising complimentary therapy. It is not a replacement for medical treatment.
2017 - a randomised controlled pilot study of 55 children with mild asthma compared a genuine halotherapy room with an otherwise similar room without a halogenerator. The halotherapy group showed improvement in bronchial hyper-responsiveness and quality of life measures. Researches said larger controlled studies were needed.
A 2021 review looked at 18 original asthma studies and concluded that the studies generally supported positive effects of halotherapy as an adjunct to conventional asthma treatment — while also saying larger evidence-based studies were needed.
And a 2022 clinical review of chronic respiratory disease found studies reporting improvements in measures including mucociliary clearance, lung function and respiratory quality of life, but called for better randomised trials.
Patrick Mckeown, the founder of Oxygen Advantage, writes of how after years of asthma and inhaler use, he learned the breathing method and has kept his symptoms at bay ever since. His book is 'Asthma Free Naturally'

The authors analyze the effects and potential benefits. They show how halotherapy may improve respiratory function and reduce symptoms in patients with conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and other respiratory ailments.
And the effects on the immune system and performance.
In Eastern Europe both visiting the natural salt mines and recreating that environment in salt rooms is a popular regular practice for any respiratory conditions
